Your ring will consist of a setting and a shank. The setting refers to the top portion of the ring which holds the diamond. The shank portion of a ring is the band that encircles your finger. Step 1: Which Metal is Right for You |
The first step is determining what color of metal to choose for your ring setting. What color of jewelry does she usually wear? Yellow or white? A little of both?
