Choose Your Diamond: Search Our Inventory of Loose Diamonds

Selecting loose diamonds can be complicated. The questions below break down the process to help you choose your diamond. The information you provide will be used to search our catalog of loose diamonds. Diamonds that fit your criteria will be displayed on the results page for your review.

You can quickly refer to the Quality Guide at the right to see which loose diamonds are carried at Danforth Diamond.

Enter Your Diamond Size or Size Range in Carats: (optional)
Carat is the measured weight of loose diamonds. It should not be confused with diamond size. Jewelers actually assign 100 points to each carat and discuss weight based on portions of those points. A 50-point diamond, for instance, is the equivalent of a half carat (.50ct). The greater the carat size of the diamond, the greater its value per carat. Learn more about Carat Weight in our Learning Center.

Choose Your Diamond Cut: (optional)
The cut of a diamond—its roundness, its depth and width, and the uniformity of the facets—all determine a diamond's brilliance. Well cut loose diamonds will internally reflect light from one mirror-like facet to another, dispersing and reflecting it through the top of stones. This results in a display of fire or brilliance in the diamond. Learn more about Diamond Cut in our Learning Center.
